Me the chair

With these quick sketches I wanted to explore design and how we can express ourselves with shapes.

What would I look like if I were a chair?

Would I be comfortable? Would I be rigid or soft? Would I be high or low?

I tried to analyze my core values and express those in shapes, forms, and materials.

I value structure, but beauty in the smallest details. I think simplicity can be as complicated as chaos. I focus on curves and enjoy how much they change the form.

I believe these three chairs show different sides of who I am and what values, in design and in life I stand for.
